Everything is connected
In order to achieve the Global Sustainable Development goals (FN), this project contributes a design approach of how to embrace waste management issues, as an interior architect. In cooperation with restaurant Vrå, the project has investigated their food waste, in order to through circular processes search for a sustainable design material. Questioning; what could a circular model, that includes food waste or post-harvest losses in the field of interior architecture, be like?
This also announces the complexity with using food waste in a production. Even though it is seen as ‘waste’ for humans, it is components that have important ecological functions in nature. The project emphasizes importance in the humans understanding of that we are a part of nature – everything is connected, and everything affects everything.
